City pair pioneer a 'first' in motor insurance on net

Two Bristol-based entrepreneurs have developed a new way to shop for motor insurance on the internet.

Steven Houston, 24, and Neil Hart, 23, have set up a free website called www.insurewith.com, which eliminates the need for consumers to randomly shop around for the best deals in motor insurance.

The independent website is not an intermediary and does not provide insurance quotations.

Instead it eliminates the need for motorists to consult a broker, or telephone or visit the websites of numerous insurance companies to find the most competitive prices available.

This also means that no broker charge is passed on to the consumer as they are buying directly from the insurer.

The website continally monitors UK's leading car insurance prividers and then informs motorists which companies are most likely to provide the cheapest quotations for them.

Visitors have to enter their current no claims discount and vehicle details along with their gender and age.

The website then gives the three providers that are most likely to provide the cheapest quotes for the individual.
